Copenhagen Business School invites applications for two vacant PhD scholarships within the field of Danish/European-Chinese social science research. The PhD must conduct research which is embedded in already existing research projects at CBS related to the Sino-Danish University Center-initiative (see Official Website). The scholarships will be available from 1 August 2011. The PhD scholarship can be situated at any department or center at CBS which has research on Danish-Chinese issues related to SDC and the department/centre must have supervision competences within the field. Core research areas are (1) welfare, social innovation, public management and social development and (2) innovation management.
-For the scholarships, CBS will give priority to applicants who demonstrate competencies within empirical as well as theoretical studies.
-The Department will give priority to applicants with high grades from their universities.
-The three-year PhD programme at CBS allows you to conduct research under the supervision of CBS professors, supported by research training courses.
– The programme is highly international, and you are expected to participate in international research conferences and to spend time abroad as a visiting PhD student.
